Responsibilities
- Use Linux to validate SoC functionality.
- Develop software and automated tests for post-silicon validation.
- Analyze validation results and investigate failures.
- Collaborate with design, firmware, software, and verification engineers to understand and resolve problems.
- Improve validation tools, automation, coverage, and working practices.
- Take ownership of increasingly complex areas of SoC validation as experience grows.
Requirements
- Around 2–3 years of experience in Linux, embedded software, firmware, system software, validation, or a related area.
- Programming experience in C/C++, Assembly, and Python or shell scripting.
- Understanding of computer architecture and operating system fundamentals.
- Linux development, testing, or debugging experience is beneficial.
- Exposure to SoC validation, silicon bring-up, Linux kernel or device drivers, CPU and memory systems, PCIe, interrupts, or SoC interconnects is nice to have.
