Responsibilities
- Drive technical design decisions, conduct code reviews, mentor others, and promote engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Jakarta Servlet, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Design, develop, and enhance user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure communication between frontend and backend components.
- Modernize legacy applications by migrating libraries and frameworks to supported versions.
- Implement secure coding practices and comply with enterprise and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver, stabilize, and continuously improve software systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience; the posting states an expected range of 3–5 years.
- Proficiency in Java, Jakarta EE Servlet API, Spring Framework, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience developing scalable enterprise applications and RESTful services.
- Expertise in React fundamentals, Hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, frontend optimization, API integration, asynchronous data handling, and form validation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Jackson, Apache POI, Log4j2, Hibernate Validator, HikariCP, file upload handling, version control systems, testing frameworks, and modern development tools.
- Understanding of secure coding, authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth, and application security standards.
- A university degree in Computer Science, Banking, or equivalent working experience is preferred.
- Spring Boot, legacy-to-modern framework migration experience, and banking or financial-domain exposure are preferred.
