Responsibilities
- Design and develop IPv4/IPv6 routing features.
- Implement and maintain static routing, policy-based routing, Multi-WAN, failover, and load balancing.
- Implement WAN technologies including DHCP client/server/relay, PPPoE, NAT/NAPT, dual WAN, and firewall-integrated routing policies.
- Develop link health monitoring, failover logic, recovery behavior, and stability tuning for high availability and resiliency.
- Optimize routing performance and scalability.
- Integrate routing functionality with platform services, UI, and cloud management where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 9–12 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong C programming skills.
- Experience with Embedded Linux and the Linux networking stack.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, firewalls, routing tables, policy rules, metrics, traffic classification, and traffic marking.
- Experience with Netfilter, iptables, and nftables.
- Ability to perform system diagnostics, packet analysis, and debugging of encrypted traffic paths.
- Knowledge of routing-, DHCP-, IP-, and ICMP-related RFC standards, Linux VPNs, and basic cryptography.
- Knowledge of DNS, NAT, and firewall interactions.
