Responsibilities
- Understand, maintain, and enhance existing data pipelines for structural data.
- Integrate and adapt data from public and proprietary sources into reliable pipelines.
- Collaborate with ML scientists to ensure their data needs are met.
- Ensure secure, robust, and retrievable data storage.
- Perform code reviews and exemplify software engineering best practices.
- Communicate technical work effectively across a cross-functional team.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Cheminformatics, or a related field.
- For Engineer II, 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Hands-on familiarity with structural biology data, including .cif files and PDB.
- Strong software engineering practices focused on maintainable systems.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Ability to operate in a research-driven environment and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong collaboration skills and effective communication across teams.
