Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve scalable, highly reliable services.
- Deliver and improve engineering systems and practices for complex cloud environments.
- Design and automate service-scale features and customer requirements.
- Investigate pre-production and production issues and implement and deploy fixes.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, typically one week every 6–8 weeks, within a secure facility.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security Researchers, Data Scientists, and other engineering teams.
- Support business reviews and operate production services while meeting stability, performance, and service-level expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required for applicable government customer restrictions.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD concepts, Git, Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub, scripting, production services, logging, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and availability measurement.
- Preferred: experience debugging across operating systems, applications, and cloud environments and resolving operational issues at scale.
- Preferred: ability to support a 24/7 live-site service model and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
