Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise platforms and digital products.
- Define end-to-end solution architectures and system design decisions across distributed, event-driven, API-first, and cloud-native systems.
- Design and review REST APIs, service contracts, integration patterns, and data models.
- Lead cloud transformation, application migration, containerization, Kubernetes adoption, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Define AI solution architectures involving LLM integration, RAG, AI orchestration, intelligent automation, and AI governance.
- Provide technical leadership from architecture and design through deployment and operational support.
- Establish standards for security, observability, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
- Proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and scalable distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, API-first design, and integration patterns.
- Strong experience designing and governing RESTful APIs for high-volume enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-native architecture and deployment models.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and performance-optimized systems.
- Practical experience implementing AI and generative AI solutions, including LLM integrations, RAG architectures, AI APIs, and intelligent automation.
- Understanding of data architecture, security, governance, and compliance in cloud and AI ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python and ability to participate in technical design reviews and guide engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical strategy across multiple teams.
- Experience in financial services, asset management, or regulated enterprise environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
