Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure capable of supporting thousands of tests per day.
- Improve test automation reliability to enable hands-free releases and automated quality sign-offs.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex test automation challenges in an individual contributor capacity.
- Own end-to-end testing across services, middleware, applications, and client platforms.
- Develop backend tools and frameworks for API, microservice, data migration, failover, blue-green deployment, and canary deployment testing.
- Build distributed systems for performance and scale testing.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Development, Quality, DevOps, and Release teams on discovery experiences across multiple device types.
Requirements
- Excellent automation skills for mobile, TV, web, set-top box, or other living-room client applications.
- Experience owning end-to-end testing for one or more layers, including services, middleware, or applications, in a product organization.
- Strong understanding of API request-response structures, errors, and status codes.
- Experience with software development practices including unit testing, object-oriented programming, design, and code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Linux commands, shell scripts, and building and publishing proofs of concept.
- Experience with Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Jetpack Compose, or JavaScript automation frameworks.
- Experience developing backend testing tools or frameworks and distributed systems for performance and scale testing.
- Hands-on experience managing applications through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud providers.
- B.Tech/B.E. or master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline from a reputed college, with 7+ years of software development experience.
