Responsibilities
- Participate in test planning, requirements reviews, peer reviews, and release-readiness activities.
- Review requirements, acceptance criteria, test artifacts, traceability, designs, user stories, and test plans for clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Execute established UiPath automated tests and conduct independent functional, integration, regression, system, and release testing.
- Review automated and manual test results, validate defect corrections, and confirm releases meet approved acceptance criteria.
- Identify testing gaps, untested dependencies, incomplete coverage, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
- Document test results and defects, monitor defect aging, severity, recurrence, and closure, and present independent findings to NIH leadership.
- Confirm that test scripts, test data, and execution procedures remain current and recommend improvements to automation, coverage, tools, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Government personnel and contractors while maintaining objective independent results and testing continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field.
- At least seven years of software quality assurance or application testing experience.
- At least three years of automated testing experience, including executing and maintaining automated functional or regression tests.
- Experience with UiPath Test Suite, UiPath automation, or a comparable automated testing platform.
- Experience testing enterprise business applications and reviewing requirements, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability.
- Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and release testing.
- Experience documenting defects and communicating test results.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into test conditions.
- Ability to work independently while participating in an integrated testing team.
- Preferred qualifications include UiPath certification or formal UiPath Test Suite training, Oracle Application Express and Oracle-based financial, acquisition, or administrative systems experience, CI/CD integration experience, independent verification and validation or independent QA experience, Section 508 testing knowledge, federal or regulated-environment experience, and NIH or HHS experience.
