Responsibilities
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-native applications using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
- Implement multi-tier architectures, RESTful microservices, and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
- Design and deploy serverless and containerized applications using AWS, Docker, AWS SAM, and ECS.
- Manage SQL and NoSQL databases including Amazon RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Apply Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure management.
- Use testing frameworks and backend testing tools to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Manage source control and configuration using GitHub, Bitbucket, and AWS CodeCommit.
- Implement logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, application performance optimization, scaling, caching, and high availability.
- Provide ongoing production support for applications.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-stack application development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, ECS/Fargate, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Experience designing and deploying serverless and containerized applications using AWS SAM, Docker, and ECS.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and integrating systems using Node.js or Spring Boot.
- Strong database management experience with Amazon RDS, MySQL/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Aurora, including SQL and NoSQL modeling.
- Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization with AWS Cognito, OAuth2.0, and JWT.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Working knowledge of testing frameworks and backend testing tools such as JUnit.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, and AWS CodeCommit for version control and configuration management.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and ELK stack.
- Experience optimizing performance and ensuring high availability using Elastic Load Balancer and CloudFront.
