Responsibilities

  • Review requirement specifications, resolve specification issues, and support specification signoff.
  • Create high-level designs, detailed designs, test plans, development reports, issue-resolution reports, and test documentation.
  • Develop and integrate Wi-Fi software modules for Android-based in-vehicle infotainment systems.
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams and external chipset vendors to resolve dependencies and issues across the Wi-Fi stack.
  • Perform static analysis, fix software errors, and conduct root-cause analysis during development, stability, and maintenance phases.
  • Support hardware board bring-up, calibration, and investigation of hardware-level issues.
  • Develop and integrate tools and scripts to automate testing.
  • Run development testing, analyze Wi-Fi sniffer logs and pcap files, and execute Wi-Fi Alliance certification activities.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java.
  • Working experience with Android AOSP-based infotainment systems and build environments.
  • Development experience with 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards.
  • Experience with WPA2 and WPA3 security standards.
  • Experience building Wi-Fi Access Point, Wi-Fi Station, and Wi-Fi Direct features.
  • Good understanding of the Android network stack.
  • Proficiency in capturing Wi-Fi sniffer logs and analyzing pcap files.
  • Experience executing Wi-Fi Alliance certification.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, hardware teams, requirements teams, and chipset vendors.
