Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build elegant, high-performance React components for AI-powered insights and workflows.
- Own critical frontend architecture as the platform scales across enterprise users.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to create intuitive visualizations and workflows.
- Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.
- Optimize load times, rendering performance, and smooth interaction for complex visualizations and real-time updates.
- Implement pixel-perfect, usable, accessible interfaces across browsers and devices.
- Own features from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Build interfaces for agentic AI systems, including natural-language inputs, conversational flows, and transparent reasoning displays.
- Write comprehensive tests, debug issues, and maintain enterprise-grade code quality, security, accessibility, and reliability.
- Contribute frontend expertise to product strategy and product direction.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- At least 4 years building complex production web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- At least 2 years of production React experience.
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web performance optimization, and complex data handling.
- Experience with React hooks, context, component lifecycles, state management, React ecosystem tools, and frontend architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, plus WebSocket or real-time data streaming.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience building interactive data visualizations and translating complex datasets into clear visual stories.
- Track record of owning significant frontend features end to end in startup or high-growth product environments.
- Strong product thinking, communication, debugging, collaboration, user advocacy, and long-term architectural judgment.
- Preferred experience with data-intensive or analytics applications, AI/ML interfaces, conversational UI, design systems, Next.js, backend technologies, Figma, accessibility and ARIA, micro-frontends, WebGL, A/B testing, feature flags, web analytics, or consumer research and retail domains.
