Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer complex software and firmware targets across Windows, Linux, embedded systems, and non-traditional architectures.
  • Develop and apply automated reverse engineering, binary analysis, emulation, and software analysis tools.
  • Characterize protocols, interfaces, functionality, binary structures, and code or data flows.
  • Research vulnerabilities and perform exploit, payload, implant, patch, and exploit-mitigation development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cybersecurity solutions for challenging technical problems.
  • Document, demonstrate, and present research findings supporting national security missions.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required by the U.S. Government.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with binary analysis of software or firmware.
  • Experience with disassembly tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including C, C++, or Python.
  • Proficiency in one or more assembly languages, including x86 or ARM.
  • Understanding of reverse engineering fundamentals such as memory layout and calling conventions.
  • Preferred experience includes vulnerability research, exploit weaponization, embedded or firmware analysis, binary emulation, custom emulation tools, disassembler or decompiler development, protocol analysis, operating system internals, anti-reverse-engineering techniques, and intrusion detection or anti-malware systems.
