Base Salary
$249k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Run and own multi-cluster, multi-region Kubernetes deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including failover and disaster recovery.
- Build internal infrastructure tools for consistent cluster creation and management across development and production.
- Design isolated workload strategies for ML and API traffic while balancing cost, performance, and reliability.
- Implement infrastructure security controls including RBAC, workload identity, secrets management, data residency, and audit trails.
- Define enforceable SLOs and SLIs and own observability and uptime visibility.
- Own GitHub Actions pipelines, Pulumi infrastructure as code, and Docker environments across development, staging, and production.
- Debug issues across the engineering environment and automate repetitive work to improve build speed and engineering productivity.
- Lead incident response and write postmortems that drive learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes beyond the deployment level.
- Experience with Pulumi or Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions across multi-cluster, multi-region environments.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Strong infrastructure and DevOps background with enough full-stack range to troubleshoot across engineering systems.
- Expertise in systematic debugging, failure-mode analysis, and root-cause investigation.
- Understanding of how contractual, compliance, and legal requirements translate into infrastructure constraints.
- Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required.
- Interest in LLMs, pragmatic product-focused engineering, and building in a rapidly growing company.
