Base Salary

$130k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build applications for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services such as Firebase with backend systems.
  • Collaborate with third-party developers on new features and releases.
  • Develop, maintain, and extend cloud server applications and infrastructure.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, test engineers, and cross-functional hardware and manufacturing teams.
  • Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency developing Android applications with Kotlin.
  • Experience using Flutter for cross-platform application development.
  • Experience with UI design and reactive UI patterns.
  • Experience with ProtoBufs, MQTT, WebSockets, and restricted-bandwidth data protocols.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux and Linux system services.
  • Experience with databases such as SQLite.
  • Experience with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with AWS IoT Core, Lambda, C#, Python, Ethernet, WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, GTest Framework, XCode, and TestFlight.
