Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-level kernels and software primitives for Tenstorrent AI hardware.
- Own performance optimization efforts from profiling and bottleneck identification through implementation and validation.
- Develop software that enables efficient model bring-up and execution across Tenstorrent hardware.
- Collaborate with LLK subteams and hardware and runtime engineering teams.
- Improve the quality, performance, and capabilities of the low-level software stack.
Requirements
- Strong C/C++ engineering experience building low-level, performance-critical software.
- Deep understanding of computer architecture and how software maps to hardware.
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex performance and systems challenges.
- Comfort working close to hardware and balancing performance, correctness, and maintainability.
- Effective collaboration across software and hardware teams and ability to influence technical decisions.
