Responsibilities
- Plan, scope, and build consistent customer experiences across Wise’s native applications and web.
- Collaborate with product, design, analytics, and other teams to deliver impactful user experiences.
- Take responsibility for the overall health and quality of the iOS project.
- Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to keep the application current and consistent across platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and support application performance, responsiveness, load times, and stability.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and deploying a customer-facing app.
- Proficiency in Swift.
- Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, or VIPER software architectural patterns.
- Desire to write testable code and understanding of REST API design.
- Strong product mindset, passion for user experience, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems independently and proactively.
- Preferred: experience with SwiftUI, Structured Concurrency, or CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Preferred: familiarity with internationalization patterns for apps serving many markets.
- Fintech experience is beneficial but not required.
