Responsibilities
- Build and operate enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management platforms and ServiceNow integrations.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Own APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows, and identity lifecycle automation.
- Develop backend services and user-facing IAM workflows across the full stack.
- Apply identity data analytics to RBAC role mining, access pattern analysis, entitlement optimization, and AI-assisted access recommendations.
- Conduct design and code reviews focused on performance, maintainability, scalability, reliability, and testability.
- Mentor and guide 4–5 junior to mid-level engineers.
- Lead large-scale technical initiatives and collaborate with security, compliance, platform, product, and engineering teams.
- Define reusable software frameworks and improve resilience, developer velocity, and operational maturity.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, naturalized U.S. citizenship, or U.S. permanent residency with a green card is required due to federal requirements.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years as senior staff, or equivalent experience and education.
- Deep hands-on experience building production enterprise-level platforms and complex distributed systems.
- Strong IAM experience with identity lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, access certifications, and privileged access management.
- Strong backend proficiency in Java or Python, databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and working knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, APIs, and HTML/CSS.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to design identity data queries and pipelines and derive actionable insights from identity or operational datasets.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, software quality, reliability, observability, and RESTful APIs.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional technical initiatives from conception through delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include 10+ years with Java, C#, or another high-level compiled language; 5+ years with automated testing frameworks; and knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SailPoint, Veza, ServiceNow integrations, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM, Neo4j, ML-assisted role mining, regulated environments, or AI productivity tools is preferred.

- Base pay is $190,900–$334,100, with equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
