Responsibilities
- Build and operate distributed, high-throughput, real-time data pipelines.
- Develop software using Java, Go, and occasionally Python.
- Utilize Kafka, Elasticsearch, and other open-source components.
- Own meaningful parts of the service and contribute to its growth.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Significant backend programming experience in one or more languages.
- Ability to work at a low level when necessary.
- Commitment to code simplicity and performance.
