Responsibilities
- Automate DevOps processes and migrate legacy data center infrastructure into the cloud.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Containerize the remaining environment using container technologies.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and scheduled after-hours maintenance windows.
- Work with Software Engineering teams to create and support a cloud-based solution platform.
- Monitor systems, manipulate logs, and support application performance and availability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows systems.
- Experience with Puppet, Chef, and Ansible provisioning and configuration-management tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience with Datadog, Graylog, and Logstash for monitoring and log management.
- Experience with Git and TFS version-control tools.
- Experience with New Relic, Dynatrace, and Cisco AppDynamics application performance monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language and willingness to learn more.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, redundancy, high availability, and performance optimization.
- Database management skills and experience working with Software Engineering teams.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently.
- Strong collaboration and open communication skills.
