Base Salary
$204k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Report to the Manager of Onboard Software Performance.
- Develop modular architecture improvements and frameworks for performance optimization.
- Evolve compute usage for fast system performance on vehicles and in data centers.
- Collaborate with onboard teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Work with hardware teams to co-design hardware/software for optimal performance.
- Ensure low reaction latency for collision avoidance systems.
- Develop high-scale performance evaluation and software change management processes.
- Optimize system resource usage in cloud datacenters.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer or in similar roles.
- 5 years of experience in C++.
- 5 years of experience optimizing software using profile-guided techniques.
