Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+ applications in microservices and cloud environments.
- Define robust and secure APIs using OpenAPI and OAuth2.
- Maintain or create CI/CD pipelines and industrialize deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure production reliability through observability and address performance and scalability concerns.
- Apply TDD, integration testing, code reviews, and technical-debt management.
- Share expertise internally and externally through meetups, conferences, articles, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong command of Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and distributed systems.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Comfort with performance and scalability topics.
- Active technical learning and a willingness to share knowledge.
- Public speaking, community-building, modern architectures, legacy modernization, and applied data/AI experience are additional advantages.
