Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on AWS and Azure.
- Lead automation initiatives for cloud infrastructure and Cloud Landing Zones.
- Develop cloud applications using serverless architectures, Kubernetes, and event-driven patterns.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms and apply cloud security best practices.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Guide, mentor, and provide technical direction to development teams.
- Contribute to software architecture, testing, code reviews, release processes, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with strong AWS expertise; Azure experience is a plus.
- Strong software development and DevOps experience, including AWS and Azure infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript, with expert-level proficiency in at least two languages preferred.
- Experience with serverless architectures, Kubernetes, event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps.
- Knowledge of cloud security, authentication, authorization, scalability, concurrency, distributed systems, cloud networking, and proxies.
- Experience with Kubernetes clusters, custom CRDs, operators, controllers, and serverless cloud applications preferred.
- Experience with DynamoDB, Flux, ArgoCD, GitHub, GitFlow, Crossplane.io, and monorepo or multirepo strategies preferred.
- Knowledge of ABAC, RBAC, JWT, SAML, AAD, and OIDC authentication and authorization protocols preferred.
- Experience with software architecture, systems testing, quality gates, code reviews, pair programming, and release processes preferred.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- React, Hooks, TypeScript, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer–Professional-level knowledge, and basic AI tools are advantageous.
