Base Salary
$130k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software applications supporting asset management functions, including trading systems, research platforms, and data analysis tools.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain existing codebases while supporting software scalability and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals and processes.
- Document and present design decisions, code, and functionality to team members and stakeholders.
- Interact with senior-level professionals and participate in Point72’s summer internship programming.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree expected between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or a similar language.
- Have familiarity with software development methodologies and tools such as Git and JIRA.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical ability, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills.
- Be able to work cooperatively with all levels of the team and conduct oneself with professionalism, integrity, and high ethical standards.
