Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
- Lead technical solutions and serve as the subject-matter expert for areas of ownership.
- Collaborate with analysts, customers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into digital experiences.
- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL, design data models, and optimise application performance.
- Troubleshoot issues affecting platform reliability and security.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support.
- Mentor and support other developers.
- Adopt current Oracle APEX capabilities and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong, proven expertise in Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with database design and data modelling.
- Solid understanding of web application development and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Commitment to security and compliance with applicable statutory requirements; background checks apply to final candidates.
