Responsibilities
- Build high-quality Android features in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Translate product requirements and Figma designs into production-ready UI.
- Design and implement clean, maintainable feature architecture.
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with resilient networking.
- Improve app performance and overall reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements.
- Monitor feature rollouts and production behavior.
- Own production issues from diagnosis to resolution.
- Drive improvements in build time and engineering efficiency.
- Provide PR reviews and mentor engineers.
- Utilize GenAI tools to accelerate implementation and testing.
- Follow internal AI usage guidance and coding standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production Android applications.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with modular Android codebases and architectural patterns.
- Strong REST and GraphQL integration experience.
- Proven testing discipline across various testing types.
- Experience diagnosing production issues using observability tools.
- Familiarity with push notifications and feature flags.
- Strong Git workflow and communication skills.
- Practical experience using GenAI developer tools.
