Base Salary
$120k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, architecture, application and database design, development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management for enterprise software.
- Design resilient, secure, scalable solutions and guide technology and design-pattern selection.
- Build AI-infused applications, Copilot features, agentic solutions, agents, plugins, skills, and MCP servers.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback while promoting collaboration and inclusion.
- Partner with product teams, program managers, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliver updates.
- Establish coding, testing, documentation, performance, and reliability practices.
- Support and maintain existing services and integrations with line-of-business applications.
- Drive automation, process optimization, technical innovation, planning, estimates, risk communication, and milestone tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 6+ years of experience building commercial software and shipping successful software products and services.
- Preferred: 4+ years delivering applications with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate, with familiarity with PowerFX and component design.
- Preferred: 5+ years leading, managing, and driving technical and architectural dependencies.
- Proficiency with C#, .NET, microservices architecture, REST APIs, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent languages and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI application development, ASP.NET, Azure PaaS services, Web Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, Azure PaaS, and cloud-native platforms including AKS and Azure Container Apps.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working in agile or startup environments and collaborating with software engineers, program managers, and data scientists.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI/SDK, Claude CLI, or equivalent tools to build agents, plugins, skills, and MCP servers.
- Ability to meet U.S. citizenship verification requirements and Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- Base pay is provided in multiple IC4 and IC5 ranges, with separate ranges for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
