Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct application security reviews and penetration tests independently or as part of a team.
- Create engagement plans and document findings, gaps, and remediation recommendations.
- Contribute to security team tooling, innovation, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with partner teams, service owners, Information Security, and senior leadership to prioritize and resolve security findings.
- Provide technical leadership, advice, and thought leadership across Amazon.
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- 2+ years of non-internship scripting, programming, and security code review experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks with command-line tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or 2+ years of IT Security experience.
- Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, industry security vulnerabilities, and remediation techniques.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, network security, AWS products and services, and security activities across software development lifecycle phases.
