Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, test, and maintain .NET services, RESTful APIs, and background workers.
- Deploy, configure, and operate services in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, including resource management, scaling, and observability.
- Design and document reliable, performant, and maintainable service architectures and inter-service communication.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams on roadmaps, API contracts, and technical decisions.
- Conduct code and design reviews covering distributed systems, security, and software quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Use AI-driven development tools and coding agents to improve delivery and engineering productivity.
- Mentor engineering peers and support continuous technical improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience focused on .NET and C#.
- Production experience designing and building RESTful APIs and background services.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including writing manifests, managing workloads, and troubleshooting cluster issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Azure-native services, cloud-native deployment models, and infrastructure practices.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems design, and inter-service communication patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in an Agile team environment.
- Preferred experience with AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
- Preferred experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure resources.
- Preferred familiarity with Datadog or Grafana, structured logging, and distributed tracing.
