Base Salary
$184k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security investigations and lead cross-functional security incident response through resolution.
- Develop initiatives and scalable solutions to improve incident response and investigative capabilities.
- Define operational metrics, key performance indicators, and service-level objectives for Security Operations and Incident Response services.
- Influence team strategy and prioritize and deliver multi-year roadmaps and projects.
- Build relationships with internal customers and facilitate solutions that increase team impact.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on detection and response initiatives.
- Collaborate with software and production engineering teams to develop adaptable Incident Response and investigative solutions.
- Identify opportunities to prioritize, automate, and scale detection and response functions.
- Coach, mentor, support, and develop team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Security Incident Response and Detection and Response Engineering within a large, regulated organization.
- In-depth technical and process knowledge of Security Operations and Incident Response services.
- Experience reporting incident and program status to leadership and leading complex cross-functional programs.
- Experience responding to external and insider threats and analyzing network and host-based security events.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and related networking protocols, plus operating systems, file systems, and memory structures on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Coding or scripting experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
- Knowledge of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Preferred experience in malware analysis, digital forensics, intrusion detection, threat intelligence, threat hunting, logs and event processing, incident management, detection or response tool development, and responsible AI practices.
- Preferred experience with prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, AI workflow integration, and recruiting, building, and leading technical teams including performance management.

- Annual base salary of $184,000/year to $257,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
