Base Salary
$187k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for engineering processes, tooling, systems, and software architecture.
- Maintain and improve existing systems while developing AI-first approaches to increase quality and delivery speed.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and data teams to design, implement, and deploy business-supporting systems.
- Make architectural decisions that balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Lead business-critical projects and help solve problems across revenue, customer-facing, and infrastructure systems.
- Mentor engineers through design and architecture planning, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience delivering end-to-end software solutions.
- Experience with React and Ruby on Rails, or comparable experience with Python/Django or JavaScript/Node.js and a willingness to learn Ruby on Rails.
- Experience testing, monitoring, and operating production software systems.
- Ability to lead business-critical projects, make architectural decisions, and drive process or execution improvements.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code, with judgment to evaluate and correct generated code.
- Experience in e-commerce, consumer growth marketing, adtech, or marketplace systems is preferred but not required.
