Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a data bus and echo system for exchanging, analyzing, and storing data from multiple producers within the DODIN-N.
- Provide data analysis and data science engineering support as part of an integrated SAFe scrum team.
- Support DevOps and DevSecOps automation and testing activities.
- Represent the company as a primary technical customer contact for engineering and technical issues.
- Develop and deliver complex technical presentations to senior management and DoD customers.
- Attend high-level meetings with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Travel 15% within the continental United States.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or information technology, plus work-related experience.
- Experience in data science, data engineering, cloud networking, cloud environments, or related areas.
- Network engineering, architecture, and/or cloud experience.
- Understanding of Azure and AWS cloud data management and engineering best practices.
- Experience with AI/ML engineering, including Gemini, ChatGPT, or Grok.
- Experience with an agile framework in a continuous deployment environment.
- Software application development experience, such as Python or other scripting languages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentations.
- Database experience is desired.
- Experience with SAFe and/or agile processes is desired.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government Secret-level security clearance.
- Critical thinking, proactive problem-solving, teamwork, self-motivation, time management, and interpersonal skills.
