Responsibilities
- Support critical applications used across the trading environment.
- Investigate live technical issues and collaborate with Trading, Operations, Development, and Engineering.
- Contribute to projects improving application reliability, supportability, monitoring, and automation.
- Help applications progress from initial specification through full production.
- Use automation to improve reliability and reduce repetitive operational work.
Requirements
- Be studying a STEM-related degree at an Irish university and require a work placement as part of the course.
- Have some experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#, or a scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems, databases, networking, monitoring tools, or software troubleshooting is desirable.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, curiosity, communication, collaboration, and a willingness to learn.
- Be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
