Responsibilities
- Develop features that expand the functionality of Android mobile applications.
- Lead or contribute to analysis, design, coding, testing, tracking, and deployment activities.
- Maintain, modernize, refactor, and continuously improve mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of delivered code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement features, resolve issues, promote code to production, and ensure performance and reliability.
- Learn about emerging technologies and potential obsolescence to address vulnerabilities and support innovation.
- Track, report, and analyze application metrics and key performance indicators, recommending improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries including ViewModel, Paging, Navigation, and Room, Jetpack Compose, and dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger/Hilt.
- Experience with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web services.
- Strong understanding of Material Design and the ability to implement complex UI/UX designs.
- Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.
- Strong software development, collaboration, communication, and technical discussion skills.
- Nice-to-have experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, AI-assisted development platforms, Firebase services, CI/CD pipelines for Android apps, multi-module projects or modularization, mobile security best practices, and application metrics.
