Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate control planes for cloud network services such as Load Balancer, WAF, CDN, VPN, and API Gateway.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, customer-friendly REST APIs for network products.
- Develop software to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of network services.
- Design distributed-system architectures with high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Support the operation of self-developed services and analyze and resolve complex software issues.
- Collaborate in an agile team, share knowledge, and produce maintainable, well-documented code.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience as a career changer.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language, ideally Go.
- Solid experience with cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker containers, and microservice architectures.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, REST and gRPC API design, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS networking concepts, or strong interest in cloud networking; deep BGP knowledge is not required.
- Good English skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an agile team.
