Base Salary
$120k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write readable, testable, and efficient Go code.
- Develop and scale platform features across APIs, infrastructure, billing, security, and integrations.
- Set technical direction for large projects and partner with engineering and product leaders.
- Evaluate, strengthen, and document technical architecture, tools, and processes.
- Maintain software quality, implement automation, support continuous delivery, and reduce technical debt.
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, problem-solving, and working in high-uncertainty environments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience writing efficient and maintainable Go code, including testing, readability, and optimization best practices.
- Broad knowledge of backend and frontend systems, including experience with APIs, CLI tools, billing systems, and security protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and with designing reliable, performant, and scalable systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to own key features and drive end-to-end development.
- Experience with software quality, test automation, continuous delivery, technical-debt management, and improving time to production.
- Hands-on experience as a backend or product engineer in a SaaS technology company.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers and operate in uncertain, rapidly changing environments.
