Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical side of enterprise opportunities in Germany from first conversation through technical evaluation, proof of value, procurement, and the decision to build on Claude.
  • Remain the customer’s technical advisor during deployment and guide systems integration partners on target architecture and delivery standards.
  • Advise engineering teams on Claude architecture, agent design, evaluation, enterprise security, scale, compliance, data residency, and governance.
  • Build and present business value cases to C-level and senior executives in German and English, connecting technical capabilities to cost, revenue, risk, and time-to-market outcomes.
  • Partner with Account Executives on account strategy, deal qualification, and executive engagement plans.
  • Run executive briefings, technical workshops, and enablement sessions for leadership and engineering audiences.
  • Identify recurring patterns across enterprise engagements and share insights with Product, Engineering, and the Applied AI team.
  • Travel to customer sites across Germany for meetings, workshops, and relationship building.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent German, written and spoken, for day-to-day work with German enterprise customers.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder.
  • Experience in enterprise pre-sales or technical advisory roles, including scoping and designing complex solutions.
  • Experience with value-based selling, business-case development, impact quantification, and senior-executive presentations.
  • Experience owning the technical win in enterprise deals, including evaluations, proofs of concept, and technical due diligence.
  • Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying production applications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements.
  • Ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and executive audiences across industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
