- Own database architecture decisions involving schema design, partitioning, migrations, scalability, and multi-tenant data isolation.
- Establish PostgreSQL standards for query optimization, indexing, replication, vacuuming, and connection pooling.
- Architect and guide graph-based asset data models representing hosts, services, credentials, and vulnerabilities.
- Own schema review processes and ensure migrations are safe, reversible, backward-compatible, and zero-downtime.
- Build tooling and standards for schema governance, migration safety, and query performance review.
- Mentor P4 and P5 engineers through code review, design review, pairing, and architectural guidance.
- Define data contracts and architectural guardrails with Data Ingestion, Asset Inventory, API Platform, and Security Research teams.
