Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade HPE NonStop hardware and architecture for payment infrastructure deployments.
- Manage Enterprise Secure Key Managers and associated secure key solutions.
- Configure and maintain Etinet servers and their integration with HPE NonStop systems.
- Support HPE NonStop subsystems including Mediacom, TMF, and KMSF, including troubleshooting and upgrade or installation planning.
- Use SCF, ZZSTO, ZZZCIP, and ZZKRN utilities for system configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities and AIOps techniques to infrastructure analysis, incident triage, anomaly detection, event correlation, and risk detection.
- Validate AI-assisted recommendations and ensure changes meet resiliency, security, traceability, auditability, and data-sensitivity requirements.
- Analyze telemetry including logs, metrics, and traces, and operationalize signals for automation and reliability outcomes.
- Build runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and known-error records for accurate and auditable troubleshooting guidance.
- Partner with SRE/Observability and Cyber teams to implement and govern AI-enabled monitoring and alerting.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps and collaborate on system upgrades and installations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of HPE NonStop hardware, architecture, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience configuring and managing Enterprise Secure Key Managers in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency configuring Etinet servers and integrating them with HPE NonStop systems.
- Strong understanding of Mediacom, TMF, and KMSF and their interaction with HPE NonStop hardware.
- Hands-on experience with SCF, ZZSTO, ZZZCIP, and ZZKRN utilities.
- Experience using authorized AI capabilities in infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Experience applying AIOps or ML-driven monitoring concepts in production infrastructure environments.
- Ability to work with logs, metrics, traces, telemetry pipelines, and data quality expectations.
- Practical experience using AI assistants for troubleshooting and documentation with secure handling of sensitive data.
- Preferred experience operating AIOps platforms and integrating them with incident or ticketing workflows.
- Preferred familiarity with enterprise LLM governance, including data classification, access controls, audit logging, and model risk considerations.
- Preferred experience using Python or SQL for operational analytics on EMS or application logs.
- Preferred familiarity with SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, blameless postmortems, and AI-supported reliability practices.
