Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own Town’s backend systems end to end, including architecture and service ownership.
- Develop orchestration infrastructure for agentic workflows and multi-provider LLM systems.
- Build identity, knowledge, memory, personalization, trust, autonomy, and agent-network systems.
- Create AI-native experiences across email, calendar, contacts, and connected tools.
- Define technical direction and solve distributed-systems, data-pipeline, API, reliability, and cost-sensitive AI workload problems.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling backend systems through a company’s high-growth arc, with concrete product-scaling examples.
- Ability to define technical direction in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Systems-thinking experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and reliability.
- Experience with LLM infrastructure, agentic systems, or real-time AI workloads in production.
- Strong interest in AI-native coding workflows and demonstrated trajectory through what you have built.
