Responsibilities

  • Provide system-level integration and test engineering support for functional, qualification, and production environmental testing of space hardware and systems.
  • Support integration and test activities for spacecraft buses, communications payloads, mission payloads, and full space vehicles.
  • Develop and deploy Electrical Ground Support Equipment for integration, checkout, test automation, and test execution.
  • Develop and maintain test requirements, designs, plans, procedures, verification documentation, and test reports.
  • Perform EGSE and Unit Under Test checkout, selloff, and troubleshooting throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies, document issues, and drive root-cause and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Support system verification and validation from design through manufacturing, test, and delivery.
  • Contribute to program reviews including SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR, I&T, and final selloff.
  • Interface with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers and travel as needed for integration, test, and post-delivery activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 2 years of System Integration and Test experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with NI tools such as LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and ability to secure and maintain Special Access Program access.
  • Preferred experience includes testing space-qualified, aerospace, or military hardware; requirements analysis; verification planning; hardware/software integration; test beds; simulators; and EGSE.
  • Preferred familiarity includes DOORS, RF test and measurement equipment, satellite TT&C systems, COSMOS or InControl, Python, Java, Perl, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in large-program, fast-paced environments.
