Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- Build responsive front-end components using Angular, including components, services, routing, RxJS, and state management.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core.
- Create and interpret detailed low-level design documents.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using software design principles, design patterns, and code review standards.
- Collaborate with QA, UX, DevOps, and Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while improving performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness.
- Write and maintain automated unit tests and use SonarQube for code-quality analysis.
- Review, improve, and validate AI-generated code and write prompts for development, refactoring, debugging, testing, API design, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum three years of application-development experience; the overview seeks candidates with seven to ten years of experience building modern MVC web applications.
- Strong proficiency with ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, Angular, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Angular 15+, RxJS, routing, state management, RESTful APIs, Postman, NUnit, Jest, and Vitest.
- Understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, performance optimization, secure coding, authentication, authorization, input validation, and OWASP guidelines.
- Experience with Git, SonarQube, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and DevOps or CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of software design principles, SOLID, design patterns, clean coding standards, automated testing, and production readiness.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and ability to critically validate AI-generated code.
- Preferred experience includes AI-enabled application development, LLM concepts, RAG, semantic search, vector search, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, independent-working, and collaborative skills, including the ability to overlap with onshore teams during some US hours.
