Base Salary
$96k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders to develop and ship features.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs.
- Identify and resolve performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Communicate engineering best practices to the team.
- Write engineering requirements documents.
- Help architect and build internal engineering standards and frameworks.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Full-stack experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, or Python.
- Experience with software engineering best practices, design patterns, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Ability to communicate technical specifications clearly in verbal and written form.
- Understanding of security, common attacks, and defenses.
- Experience shipping features behind an A/B testing or feature flag platform such as Optimizely.
- Command of HTML, CSS, React, Core Web Vitals, responsive styling, and loading-speed optimization.
- Experience building complex architecture systems and applying backend architectural patterns for high-scale web applications.
- Experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Experience designing clean APIs and understanding performance issues.
- Experience with lifecycle communication platforms such as Iterable, Twilio, Salesforce, and Regal.
- Solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of build system configuration and setup such as Webpack.
- Experience with infrastructure, distributed systems, high-scale application deployment, logging, and monitoring technologies.

- Hybrid work arrangement with at least 2 days in the office and 3 days remote each week
- US national base salary range of $96,000-$169,000 for the full-time position
