Responsibilities
- Build, run, secure, monitor, and scale large-scale distributed cloud services and systems.
- Design, develop, architect, test, integrate, and deploy cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Automate operational tasks, improve reliability and velocity, and monitor service availability, capacity, performance, and health.
- Identify and resolve application deployment issues and modify systems to meet changing requirements.
- Create documentation, workflows, standards, and procedures for application and infrastructure deployment, operation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with development teams and technical experts to deliver enterprise cloud solutions and improve cloud knowledge.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies after the internship.
- Available for the full 16-month term from May 3, 2027 through August 11, 2028.
- Foundational proficiency or developing knowledge in cloud computing, cloud security, cloud networking, DevOps, programming, scripting, cloud economics, cloud sizing, governance, and cloud architecture concepts.
- Knowledge of Cloudability and cloud financial reporting, cloud measured services, cloud attribution, and enterprise cloud strategy is relevant.
- Strong learning agility, communication, collaboration, relationship-building, analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- The comparable full-time role requires 3–5 years of experience, but the campus program seeks motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn.
