Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture and delivery of Salesforce solutions across lead, account, contact, opportunity, partner, and revenue workflows.
- Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Design and support REST and SOAP integrations, data synchronization, monitoring, error handling, retries, and alerting.
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, estimation, implementation planning, architecture reviews, code reviews, and production readiness reviews.
- Define Salesforce engineering standards covering coding, testing, security, documentation, version control, releases, environments, and deployment practices.
- Mentor Salesforce developers and administrators and guide resolution of complex technical problems.
- Lead deployment planning, validation, rollback planning, automated testing, incident root-cause analysis, and durable defect resolution.
- Partner with business, IT, security, and operations teams to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and shape platform strategy.
Requirements
- 7 –10+ years of Salesforce development experience, including significant enterprise Salesforce implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security and sharing, access controls, automation, governor limits, performance optimization, and deployment architecture.
- Proven experience designing and troubleshooting REST and SOAP integrations and working with middleware or enterprise application integrations.
- Understanding of integration patterns, error handling, retries, monitoring, observability, and data synchronization.
- Experience with Git, structured CI/CD or Salesforce release-management practices, automated tests, and deployment validation.
- Experience leading technical designs, architecture reviews, code reviews, engineering standards, production support, debugging, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, influence technical decisions, manage stakeholders, and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
