Responsibilities
- Take ownership of building advanced capabilities for Video Forensics.
- Design scalable systems that evolve over time across multiple applications.
- Drive cross-team design reviews to ensure technical quality.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into coherent technical direction.
- Raise the team's quality bar through design reviews and best practices.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers to enhance team independence.
- Communicate technical direction and architectural decisions to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
- Strong fundamentals in engineering and architecture across multiple languages.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex concepts.
- Ability to translate high-level concepts into tangible deliverables.
- Desirable: Experience with video processing, codecs, or streaming.
- Desirable: Familiarity with Azure cloud services and modern programming languages.
