Responsibilities
- Build platform capabilities for agentic experiences, including secure data discovery, tool use, external integrations, and reliable enterprise-scale workflows.
- Design and operate systems with high throughput, availability, observability, security, and maintainability.
- Deliver full-stack solutions with an emphasis on backend systems, distributed architecture, APIs, data modeling, reliability, and observability.
- Use Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor across design, implementation, testing, debugging, code review, and operational work.
- Improve frameworks, tooling, and engineering practices that increase effectiveness across engineering teams.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy while mentoring other engineers.
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience building and operating production software systems.
- Enterprise experience in developer platforms, integration frameworks, event-driven systems, data platforms, or analytical reporting infrastructure.
- Experience operating production software at enterprise scale or with high transaction and data volumes.
- Strong backend engineering skills in API design, distributed systems, data modeling, reliability, and observability.
- Experience delivering full-stack functionality and collaborating across frontend and backend boundaries.
- Expert practical knowledge of AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.
- Ability to make sound engineering trade-offs and communicate technical decisions clearly.
- Preferred experience designing and operating public-facing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Preferred experience with high-throughput event-streaming platforms, extensible integration or application frameworks, and distributed data-fetching, query execution, reporting, or analytical systems.
