Responsibilities

Execute the technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to ensure technical sustainability.
Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes.
Ensure proper monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, and policies are in place.
Set code review and design standards, fostering a culture of quality.
Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent on the team.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Extensive experience in developing and deploying highly available distributed systems using AWS and Kubernetes.
Excellent troubleshooting skills on cloud and distributed systems.
Experience automating deployments using Kubernetes.
Ability to deliver major features and write high-quality, understandable code.
Comfortable navigating from low-level language idioms to large system architecture.
Demonstrated ability to gather and iterate on feedback from peers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
