Responsibilities
- Develop software using Agile methodologies and the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle.
- Provide technical direction and assistance to team members.
- Define solutions to complex technical problems.
- Own the evolution of major subsystems within the team's domain.
- Translate strategic goals into technical roadmaps in collaboration with other teams.
- Set standards for code quality and engineering patterns through rigorous reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience scaling production Ruby on Rails applications.
- Expertise in GraphQL and relational database tuning for high-traffic systems.
- Strong proficiency with modern component frameworks and TypeScript.
- Deep experience with AWS services and Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience designing event-driven architectures and managing asynchronous processing.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience at the Staff level.
