Base Salary
$146k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and align technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and customers.
- Assist in developing technical proposals, including system designs and cost estimates.
- Respond to RFPs and support the sales team with tailored technical responses.
- Address technical inquiries and provide pre-sales technical support.
- Communicate technical differentiators and competitive advantages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends and provide insights to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in technical sales or solutions engineering.
- Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Deep expertise in architecting and deploying hybrid and public cloud solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Layers 3–7 networking.
- Knowledge of network segmentation and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Experience with Terraform for pre-sales POCs and demo environments.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Collaborative and autonomous, comfortable working across functions.
- Strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
- Background in Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a plus.
- Willing to travel up to 60% for customer engagement.
