Base Salary
$151k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own, architect, and continuously optimize Infrastructure-as-Code-based cloud infrastructure across multi-region production environments.
- Manage, upgrade, and optimize high-availability Kubernetes clusters, including workloads, networking, storage, RBAC, and secure configurations.
- Drive GitOps adoption and build secure, predictable continuous delivery pipelines.
- Design and maintain scalable AWS architectures, networking, identity access management, and cost optimization strategies.
- Implement zero-trust access frameworks, secure infrastructure boundaries, and secrets management systems.
- Support the operational health, connectivity, and deployment workflows of LVT’s global IoT and edge fleet.
- Develop observability, monitoring, alerting, documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams in an asynchronous engineering workflow.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of DevOps, platform, or cloud infrastructure engineering experience in high-availability production environments.
- Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience, with expertise in workloads, networking, RBAC, storage, and upgrades; Amazon EKS experience is preferred.
- Advanced Terraform and Terragrunt skills, including ownership and refactoring of complex infrastructure module hierarchies.
- Experience with declarative continuous delivery and GitOps tooling; ArgoCD experience is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and environments, including VPC, IAM, EKS, ALB/NLB, S3, CloudWatch, and cloud cost management.
- Strong Linux systems administration, shell scripting, and operating-system-level debugging skills.
- Experience managing secrets securely; HashiCorp Vault experience is preferred.
- Exposure to Teleport, Boundary, or BeyondCorp is preferred.
- Strong written communication and experience documenting complex systems and authoring runbooks.
- Experience with IoT or edge fleet management, MQTT brokers, Datadog, Coralogix, AWS GovCloud/FedRAMP, NetFoundry, or OpenZiti is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass required drug screening and background checks.
